Last summer we were introduced to the MOM jean, Topshop’s version of the vintage high waisted Levi’s and theJoni jean which was and still is highly popular. Now, we’ve been introduced to the Hayden jean.
Brought to us in the last couple of weeks, maybe even less than that, the Hayden jean looks set to be on the list of staples for SS14.
On topshop.com they’re described as “authentic loose fit boyfriend jean with rip and repair detail”.

love the fit of the jean, it’s something totally different for me.
Being a size 14, I find it difficult to find comfortable fitting jeans
as a lot of them just don’t fit right on me, I always have to stick with
high waisted jeans to fit my bum in (I hate nothing more than seeing
people’s bum cracks so wouldn’t dare expose mine to the public!) so Jamie jeans and Joni jeans have always been my favourites, Jamie jeans for the ankle grazer factor and Joni jeans for the super skinny jean factor.
I tried the bleach extracted Hayden jeans
on at the Trafford centre and have to say I was amazed with how they
sat on my hips. They’re lower than what I’m used to but weren’t super
low rise so covered me nicely. The have a nice baggy feel that went hand
in hand so to speak with my slip ons. I love the scruffy look of them
too! For £42 they’re a must have and with my discount they’re definitely
being bought in the near future…
